How to use CBD oil?

CBD oil is used in a variety of ways but the main one is as a sublingual oil. A few drops should be placed under the tongue so that it can be absorbed into the body. You should hold it for 2 to 3 minutes for it to be absorbed sublingually, making the best use of it. Also see How to use CBD Oil

What is Cannabidiol?

Cannabidiol is one of the main cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant. It can account for up to 45% of the plant’s extract. Due to its characteristics and its interaction with the endocannabinoid system, it is the source of several scientific investigations. These include research focused on the interaction with different symptoms or pathologies.

How is cannabidiol obtained?

Cannabidiol is not made, it is obtained from the plant. It is one of the more than 400 active ingredients including cannabinoids and terpenes present in the cannabis plant. There are various extraction methods to obtain it and in our case, we use a method that guarantees a Full Spectrum (or whole plant) product, i.e. all the components of the plant are preserved in the final product. This guarantees a synergy between all the ingredients known as the entourage effect, which enhances the CBD and gives superior results to products with isolated CBD.

Will I feel the psychotropic effects with CBD?

No, CBD or cannabidiol is a non-psychotropic element. In addition, in the correct proportion, it blocks the psychotropic effect of THC. In compliance with European regulations, our myCBD products contain less than 0.2% THC, so they do not cause any unpleasant sensations or psychotropic effects.

Do I need a prescription to take CBD?

No, the products we offer at myCBD do not require a prescription.

How much CBD oil should I take and how often?

Our customers have confirmed to us that the ideal drops and frequency may vary depending on the individual. Based on the analysis of our oil, we have created a cannabidiol calculator with which we propose a guideline of drops to take based on a personal parameter such as weight. Important: This CBD calculator is only valid for myCBD oils.

In the case that you are taking other medicines you should consult a doctor, preferably one who specializes in cannabinoids, to avoid possible interactions.

Will I get a positive drug test if I take myCBD products?

After taking CBD products, you can continue to participate in traffic. It neither restricts the driver’s ability to drive, nor does it trigger undesirable results in drug tests. However, full-spectrum CBD products contain up to 0.2% THC. This small amount cannot induce intoxication, but it can theoretically lead to positive results in drug tests if larger amounts of the product are ingested. However, we are not aware of any such case. If the risk is still too great for you, you can also use THC-free CBD oil.

How should CBD be stored and for how long?

It is recommended to store the products in a cool and dry place without direct exposure to light. myCBD hemp oil can be kept for approx. one year when opened. CBD oil vials are not clear to protect the quality of CBD. For the myCBD cream, it is recommended to use the product a maximum of one year after opening. The CBD oil should be shaken before each use and is stable for up to two years after opening.

Are there any THC remainings in the myCBD oils?

Yes, as these are full spectrum products, they also contain THC. myCBD hemp oil contains less than 0.2% THC. This amount complies with the legal requirements and prevents people from getting intoxicated with the products. For people for whom this amount of THC is too much, we have THC-free CBD oil.

Questions about the myCBD online shop

Can I add CBD products to an order if I have already made the purchase?

Yes, you can add items to your order. We close our sending cycle every day at 16.30. If your order hasn’t been sent out yet, you’ll only pay for the added products.

Why is my product displayed as unfulfilled even though I have already paid?

This means that the order is in preparation. As soon as our logistics department has prepared and sent your package, the status changes to fulfilled (completed).

There are cases in which you first receive an SMS with the tracking number although the status has not yet changed. This is normal as we verify that all orders have shipped correctly.

Questions about shipping CBD

To which countries do you ship CBD?

We ship all of our products to the following countries: Spain, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Holland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom. In some cases it is necessary to issue an invoice so that customs proof of the order is available. If this is the case, we need the identity card or tax identification number.

Do you ship CBD outside of Europe?

No, we neither ship nor sell outside of Europe. However, if you plan to visit Europe, you can contact us so that we can send your package to a hotel or parcel shop. Since the system does not accept bank cards that are not from Europe, you must select bank transfer as the payment method. Send the proof of payment to so that we can manage the order in time.

What is the delivery time?

Orders placed Monday to Thursday before 6:00 p.m. require 24/48 hours for national products. Due to the current situation and safety precautions, some delivery systems may delay delivery.

International products: International products (outside Germany), depending on the time of the order, are delivered within 48 to 72 hours if there are no customs complications and we have all the necessary information.

If orders are placed after 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays, the package will be sent on Friday and delivery will be made the following Monday.

Orders placed on Fridays or the weekend will be shipped the following Monday.

Note: Due to the current situation, some delivery systems may have delays in delivery. If this should occur you will receive an email or SMS of the change, depending on the complications that arise.

Where can I find my tracking code?

For national deliveries, our delivery service Correos Express offers us a 24/48 hour service. You will receive a notification via email or SMS with your tracking code.

If a complication or incident arises, the delivery service will contact you directly and offer you various options to get in touch to complete the delivery of your package.

International deliveries in general are made with UPS.

As soon as we have your tracking code, we will send it to your email so that you can track where your package is.

Can deliveries be made to post office boxes?

Unfortunately… no. To receive your order we need a signature upon delivery. To ensure safety and the optimise the delivery process, only adults aged 18 and over are allowed to accept the package. This is the reason why we do not send to any post office boxes.

Questions about how to buy CBD with a credit or debit card

If you are having difficulties paying for the purchase in our online shop with your credit card, there could be several reasons. If you don’t find an answer, please contact us.

Which bank cards do you accept?

We accept any European bank card. Like Visa, Mastercard or Maestro.

Why is my bank card not accepted in your online shop?

Since we can only send products to Europe, our payment system only accepts payments with a credit or debit card from a European bank. Even if the shipping is within Europe, we can only accept bank cards from European banks.

If you do not have a bank card, you can make the payment via a bank transfer. When you have placed your order, we will send you our bank details to which you can transfer the money.

My bank card is a European card and my payment is still not being accepted. What is the reason?

We have a secure payment system with an encryption system and only allow payments with 3D Secure.

What is a 3D Secure payment?

For a payment to be of the 3D Secure type, the bank card must be 3D Secure and the online shop must support 3D Secure, as is the case with myCBD. The card number, the expiry date and CVC are required.

The majority of all recently manufactured credit and debit cards are 3D Secure.

With previous bank cards, depending on the bank, the 3D Secure process runs automatically or has to be signed with a new contract. In both cases, no change or modification of the existing card is required. If you have any doubts, ask your bank whether you have 3D Secure.

In our case we have configured the payment system with 3D Secure and therefore bank cards without them are not automatically accepted. We have chosen to protect the customers who shop on our website and to avoid bank fraud.

To avoid bank fraud, many banks send an SMS to the contact person. In this SMS there is a security code which you have to enter on the website in order to continue with the purchase. myCBD does not send this e-mail but the system of your bank, which also does this for every other online order.

When I pay in your online shop, I receive the text message on another cell phone. How can I change the phone on which I receive the SMS?

The phone on which you get the SMS is the one you specified at your bank to receive notifications and other bank services. To get the SMS on another cell phone, you need to contact your bank to change the phone number that is registered for you.

I made the purchase in your online shop but received an error, did something go wrong?

Contact us so that we can see where an error has occurred. Don’t worry, you won’t pay twice for your order. The problem may have arisen because since January 2021 all online transactions with 3D Secure must be valid and in order to be able to confirm a purchase, this must be confirmed by an SMS. In some cases the bank card has not yet been updated and therefore an error is displayed.
